Meet the Founders
Arshia graduated at the top of his class in Psychology, Neuroscience, and Behaviour at McMaster University and is now a second-year dental student at the University of Toronto. The inspiration for ComfiDam, struck during his dentistry classes, where he realized the challenges faced by mouth breathers like himself with traditional dental dams. Recognizing a significant gap in dental care for the 40% of the population who are mouth breathers, Arshia set out to innovate and address a vital need for comfort in dentistry.

Asra graduated from York University and is now a first-year dental student at the University of Manitoba. With two years of clinical experience as a dental assistant, she played a crucial role in designing ComfiDam. When Arshia introduced the idea of a breathable rubber dam, Asra leveraged her clinical experience to ensure that the product was not only comfortable but also durable, effectively meeting the needs of patients in dental settings.
